Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about using this tool and automating workflows with RunMacro.

What is keyboard ghosting?

Keyboard ghosting occurs when certain simultaneous keypresses are not registered because the internal matrix circuit cannot resolve overlapping signal lines. Mechanical keyboards with NKRO prevent this.

Why does holding a key create multiple keydown events?

This is the operating system repeating keypress behavior (typematic rate). Our tool calculates both initial actuation and sustained hold duration accurately.

How do I automate keyboard typing in Windows?

RunMacro Auto Keyboard enables you to record, schedule, and loop keyboard keystrokes, shortcuts, and text strings with millisecond-precision delays.
